Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal for consumers

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take possession of the goods. For contracts covering digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

Exercising the right of withdrawal

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Sending your notification before the withdrawal period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, and you will not incur any fees for this reimbursement.

Exclusion and early expiry

  • Printed books (softcover / hardcover): there is no right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and are made to the consumer's individual specification or are clearly tailored to personal needs (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB). Every printed book is made with the characters, names and dedication you supplied, and is only produced after you expressly release it for printing.
  • Digital content (PDF): the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance after you expressly consented to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356(5) BGB).

In addition: our voluntary money-back guarantee

Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal — and going beyond it — we offer a voluntary money-back guarantee: as long as you have not yet released your book for printing or downloaded your PDF, we refund the full purchase price if you are not happy with your book, no reasons needed. Online dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
